Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex are located at the heart of the city, Bandar Seri Begawan. Tis complex started built in 1992 and completed built at 1994. Before this complex existed and built, originally was the old Kampung Ayer (Kampung Sultan lama&kampung Pemancha Alam). There was a big fire in 1992, both village were destroyed. Sultan help peoples by built the complex. This complex reflex the kampung Ayer itself which show the Bruneian design.
On the foyer of this building show the view of Kampung ayer and Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien mosque. There is an arcade inside this complex. Money changer can be found here. many traditional things are sold here.
